Cathy Greenleaf, Senior Consultant, Fisher International
As China quadrupled its tissue capacity in the past decade, it has become clear that GDP growth is the primary driver of T&T growth. Fisher has modeled this phenomenon in order to track new tissue machine installation trends and the implications for OEMs as well as other suppliers. Using our modeling, we estimate there will be 1,040 newly-built tissue machines between now and 2025. What types of machines will they be? Who will build them? How big will they be? And just how much additional revenue can suppliers expect in support of the new machines?
