Over the past ten years, the paper industry has seen a significant change in dynamics both regionally and through the growth and contraction of segments. But when we think of paper mill start-ups, shutdowns or shifts in demand of paper grades, we don’t always think of the impact on the supply and demand of Slurry Pulp. Yet the ability to make Slurry Pulp often determines a mill’s ability to compete. With the capacity changes in paper and market pulp, one would assume there has been corresponding growth and contraction in Slurry Pulp.
